Your Role
You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and various departments and provide high-volume quotes to customers. Daily, your duties will include:
- Providing completed quantity take-off, analysis, and estimates for all deliverables involved in the assigned job
- Work supervised with the Sales Manager to provide accurate pricing every time
- Raise Purchase Orders for high-volume materials
- Professionally handle phone calls in a polite and helpful manner
- Prepare quotations and pricing schedules per the scope of works required
- Monitor the status of the job through customer portals, and ensure any changes to pricing are brought to the attention of the Sales Manager
- Respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Support the technical functions of the department, senior Estimators and Management as required
- General Administrative duties as required
The position is Full-Time, Permanent and the working location has on-site parking. Salary is $65K + Super + Yearly Bonus. Working days are Monday – Friday and no weekend work is required. Hours are approximately 8.30 – 5pm.
About You
- You have at least 2 years of experience as an Estimator, Contracts Administrator or Scheduler within the Australian building and construction sector
- You have an active Driver’s Licence and Vehicle
- You have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- You have sound computer and CRM skills
- You are a friendly, approachable person with a can-do attitude
- You are available to work Monday – Friday 8.30-5pm
