About the Role
The successful candidate:
- must be an admitted legal practitioner and holds a current practicing certificate.
- should have a strong interest in family law.
- Should be motivated and have a “can do” attitude.
- will be working closely alongside and assisting the Legal Practice Director to service and manage clients across a range of family law matters.
- Will be “hands-on” with file management including preparing court documents, drafting correspondences, attending client meetings.
- Will have opportunities appear in Family Court and at conferences.
- Will have opportunities to attend industry networking functions and events
Skills & Attributes
Essential Criteria
- Competent with MS Office programs (outlook, word, excel)
- Ability to work in a relaxed but close working environment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing file priorities
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- High attention to details
Desirable Criteria
- On the Legal Aid WA panel for family law matters and dispute resolution
- Experience with using LEAP file management software
Benefits / Salary
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with experience and capability of successful candidate.
Start date and option to Work from Home will be discussed at interview and subject to capability of successful candidate.
