Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Reporting Accountant, the Junior Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Reporting Accountant in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide support for all month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhance financial controls.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as required by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant internship preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to Business Central is desirable.
