Junior Garment Technician

Base salary from $50,000 (depending on experience)
About your new role
This is perfect for those who has at least a TAFE qualification or currently studying fashion. You will process/activate all orders in a time bound framework of 2-5 days, ensuring job tickets, job slips and barcodes are prepared for every order. You will work closely with our designers to manufacture commercially viable products in our Australian factories while maintaining the quality standards.
You will also:
- Ensure all raw materials - Fabrics, Embellishment and Trims are correctly listed on Job Tickets and data loaded into production software
- Report all potential Job Ticket order delays to Factory Manager as they occur
- Liaising with key members of the design and production team to ensure each step of the critical path is accurate, correct and realistic.
- Provide pre-production staff with information when print or embellishment artwork need to be created
What will you bring?
- Great communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time management and organisation skills
- Experience in fashion industry is highly regarded but not essential
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator is highly regarded but no essential
