From billboards, scoreboards, video screens and signage, our big screens make landmarks, organisations and venues across Australia and New Zealand more attractive to the crowds our clients engage. BSV work with several industries including sport, education, hospitality, retail, transit and out of home media. Our projects can be found at iconic venues such as the MCG, Movie World, Crown Casino, UTS Sydney and The Gabba.
About the Role
Due to rapid business growth, we are looking to fill a junior technician role based at our Luscombe office. The role provides opportunity for the completion of Certificate III in Electronics and Communications at Tafe and onsite exposure over a three-year apprenticeship for the right person. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to make a career change. Following completion of the electronics and communications apprenticeship there will be opportunities to develop and grow within the business and a guaranteed full-time job.
With offices and screens all over Australia, our juniors have the opportunity to travel and get paid for it! We offer short rotations interstate to ensure our juniors receive exposure to a variety of training from our highly qualified senior technicians. All juniors are mentored by our passionate and highly skilled team.
Training and development programs are fully funded by BSV. Apprentices will be paid for their time attending Tafe and provided with the training materials needed to be successful in their studies, this includes a laptop computer and tools of the trade.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Building LED screens
- Installation and commissioning of permanent LED projects
- Pre-installation coordination of materials
- Setting up control equipment
- Attending to service calls
- Rectifying on-site LED faults
- Repairing LED modules

About You
You must have or be willing to obtain before commencing work:
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- BSV will reimburse training costs for white card and working at heights at the successful completion of the six-month probation.
Desired:
- EWP at a minimum of 11m (over 11m preferable)
- Working with Children check/s
- Police check
- Forklift Licence
- First Aid Training
