ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing visually appealing and effective marketing materials that align with our brand identity and messaging. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic industry and contribute to the growth of a market-leading company.
This is a part-time position based in Hamilton, working 25 hours a week, with flexible working hours available between 8am - 5pm. There are also opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create various marketing materials, including but not limited to: digital assets for online marketing, print collateral, advertisements, social media graphics, events, launches and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and management team to develop concepts and design solutions that meet project objectives.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques into projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of visual content for the company website and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field (or working towards).
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
