An exciting opportunity exists to join Maintenance Matters, a multi trade organisation providing all facets of property maintenance to both the commercial and domestic sectors with a specialist focus on the Strata industry, Aged Care and Community Housing. We are currently seeking a Junior Groundsperson to join our team!
Duties include:
- mowing (both ride on and hand pushed)
- operating a whipper snipper
- weeding and pruning
- operating a chainsaws/pole saw
- rubbish removal
- any other aspects of property grounds maintenance
In addition to the relevant grounds duties, the successful candidate will also be required to fulfill various trades assistant duties.
The successful applicant will:
- have a strong work ethic
- have a keen eye for detail
- possess outstanding communication skills
- be punctual and reliable
- have a passion for working in the garden and outdoors
- have own reliable transport (and the ability to drive a manual vehicle if required)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a keen, hands-on operator to get in on the ground floor and have involvement in servicing our client base in a variety of areas. Would suit recent school leaver looking to commence their career. For the right candidate there is opportunity for growth, including further training and development.
Current police and DCSI clearances (or willing and able to obtain them) and a valid driver’s licence are requirements of the role.
