This role is a unique opportunity to step into your first HRBP position and make a meaningful impact in a thriving global organisation. You will pay a key role in enabling your business unit to achieve their people plans, delivering value through timely, consistent and effective functional support. You responsibilities will include:
- First point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding HR advice, including interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Assist in the management of ER matters such as absenteeism, grievances, dispute resolutions and mediations with the support of your HR Director.
- Support recruitment efforts and onboarding
- Support in the execution of projects and initiatives
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in an HR role in a unionised and high-risk environment. You will have exposure to Employee Relations and an investigation process and strong understanding of Australian Industrial Relations and Employment Relations legislation. You have the ability to balance attention to detail with a strategic mindset, use common sense and diplomacy in how you interact with different people.Your key stakeholders operate in a 24-hour shift environment, requiring your onsite engagement five days a week, primarily in the afternoons to early evenings.
