Junior Labourer / Lab Assistant

This client performs testing and inspection services to roads, mining and heavy industrial sectors. The company has been established for around 10 years, has a loyal group of clients and is seeking a Labourer / Lab Assistant to work 40 hours per week in their Perth based laboratory.

The role would suit a physically active person who may have just finished school or is looking for a career path. 
 
The role has both lab and site-based work and involves various workshop and lab-based duties such as:

• Assisting the engineers in the laboratory with their testing and sampling. 
• Collecting material samples.
• Loading and unloading trucks. 
• Sorting and labelling of stock. 

To be successful for this position, you will require the following: 

• Drivers Licence (essential).
• Ability to pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening. 
• Ability to work long hours in a physical role.

The company is based in Canning Vale with free parking available. Award pay rates will apply for the successful applicant.
