Recovery Lab is on the hunt for a Part Time Studio Assistant

Education is at the heart of everything we do. We want to help everyone understand the brain and body benefits of recovery, so nothing gets in your way to achieve your goals.
Our modalities (Ice Baths, Infrared Sauna's, Compression Therapy, Compex EMS, and Nucalm) are carefully curated and proven to recharge fitness enthusiasts, office workers and people who lead busy lifestyles. We want to support our members through a regular practice of self care so that they can build the confidence they need to take on everyday challenges.
Who you are.
We are looking for someone who is a customer centric sales gun. Someone who is energetic, mature minded and can get along with just about anyone. You live and breathe health and wellness and have an understanding of our key modalities already or are keen to learn and dive in to all things recovery.
Role and Responsibilities.
Some of the key roles and responsibilities you will be required to do are:
- Be proficient in all aspects of the lab operations and actively work in the lab.
- Customer centric with a high level of customer service proficiency.
- Answer and direct phone call, resolve any customer issues, and process transactions.
- Ensure the Lab is clean and hygienic at all times in conjunction with Lab cleaning schedules and procedures. Cleaning includes wet area mopping and sanitising surfaces.
- Deliver exceptional member service experiences, provide education on modalities, and resolve inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Provide information on membership fees, session packs, policies, processes, benefits, products, and services.
- Actively listen to members and identify their needs.
- Recommend and cross-sell products and services
- Document all inquiries and maintain accurate records.
- Help create social media content
- Assist with local area marketing and activation events
Essential:
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, customer focused role
- Customer service and sales experience
- Experience working in the fitness or wellness industry
- Ability to be proactive and apply urgency to all tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Sports Science / Human Movement education background desired
