Our client is seeking a passionate Junior Lawyer with a keen interest in Estate and Succession Planning to join their renowned commercial and private client team. This role offers the opportunity to be mentored by some of Queensland’s top-rated lawyers, providing invaluable experience and skills in Estate and Succession Planning.
About the Role:
As a member of the commercial and private client team, you will support partners and team members in delivering exceptional legal services. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in Estate and Succession Planning, coupled with strong research and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior lawyers in drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other estate planning documents
- Conduct legal research on complex Estate and Succession Planning issues
- Manage client matters and maintain effective client communication
- Collaborate with other lawyers and practice areas within the firm
- Genuine passion for Estate and Succession Planning
- Bachelor of Laws degree
- Eligibility to complete PLT and obtain a practising certificate
- Strong research and analytical skills, with critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to outstanding client service and contributing to a positive internal culture
