Graduate or Junior Lawyer – Estate and Succession Planning
We are looking for a graduate/ junior lawyer with a passion for estate and succession planning to join CGW’s commercial and private client team. As a graduate/ junior lawyer, you will have the opportunity to be mentored and work alongside some of Queensland’s recognised ‘Best Lawyers’ and gain invaluable insights and skills in the field of estate and succession planning.
The Role:
As a member of the commercial and private client team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the partners and other members of the team in delivering outstanding legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion and genuine learning interest for estate and succession planning and have strong research and analytical skills. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting senior lawyers in drafting Wills, Power of Attorneys, and other estate planning documents
- Conducting legal research on complex estate and succession planning matters
- Assisting with management of client matters and managing client communication
- Collaborating with other lawyers and practice areas within the firm
To be successfulin this role, you will need:
- Genuine passion and interest in the private client space and estate planning and succession space in particular
- Bachelor of Laws
- Be eligible to complete PLT and obtain a practising certificate
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed to providing outstanding client service and contributing to CGW’s internal culture
