About the Role
Planning is an expanding function within our business with significant opportunities. This role has cross functional accountabilities withing both the 99 Bikes and Advance Traders businesses of Pedal Group. We are seeking an analytical, process orientated, problem solving action driver who can assist in developing and maintaining demand and supply plans while assisting other teams in making/executing great commercial decisions. This is a great opportunity for any planner excited to learn about our business and apply their skills to see great results!
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting Demand & Supply planning for Bikes Categories
• Monthly maintenance of Supply plans
• Assisting New Order submissions by key production deadlines
• Driving forecast accuracy improvements
• Minimizing Out Of Stock situations for key lines
• Instigating action through strong analysis with assistance of Brand Managers
• Management of inventory based on quantity and quality measures
• Collaborating with Finance Teams and Sales Teams to assist in making strong commercial decisions to improve the financial performance of the business
• Data management
• Involvement in driving system and process improvement
• Transparent reporting/Analysis for the Planning Team
Skills and Experience
• An ambitious, driven and adaptable individual who is looking to learn, share and expand skills
• 1+ years within support operations of a Retail or Wholesale business
• A demonstrable and proven track record of high achievements
• An analytical mind and passion for solving problems
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Worked with ERP systems and Business Intelligence systems
• Advanced level MS Excel skills
• Other experience in merchandise & inventory planning within a retail and/or wholesale environment preferrable
