About The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Real Estate administrator who is ready to take the next step into Junior Property Management to join their established team in Launceston. As a key member, you will manage a residential portfolio initially comprising of 80 properties (to increase to 120) whilst training and supporting other Property Managers. With the support of a full-time trust accountant, leasing staff, administrative assistance, and highly experienced Property Managers, you're well-equipped for success. This full-time position requires in-office attendance Monday to Friday, with no weekend work and also offers the use of company pool cars during work hours.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in showing properties and processing lease applications.
- Respond to tenant questions and resolve issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of leases, payments, and maintenance.
- Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance work.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Generate monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Ensure timely collection and record-keeping of rent payments.
- Assist in advertising vacancies and conducting open houses.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with lease agreements.
- Stay updated on local property laws and regulations.
