We are currently looking for a Junior Scheduler to join our team. Our team is one with high energy, achievable goals and great morale. Building properties both north and south of the river, we work closely with many external departments and businesses, bringing variety to each and every day. Our company continues to grow from strength to strength and we welcome you to become part of our fantastic team environment and work in our brand new state of the art offices.
About the Role
- Production of accurate and timely estimates
- Ensure accurate take offs of material quantities from plans
- Negotiate pricing and obtain quotes from suppliers
- Issuing orders to suppliers
- Providing assistance with daily queries and orders to the Site Supervisors
- Other tasks as reasonably required
What you will bring to the role
The successful applicant will have an excellent aptitude for maths, be an active learner and have a positive disposition to the role.
You must:
- Have a sound understanding of general mathematics
- Have strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Act in a professional manner with a high work ethic
- Work well in a team environment
- Be proactive and be confident in effective decision making
- Have good commination skills
- Have intermediate skills on Microsoft suite
