About the Role
Masada College is seeking to appoint a School Counsellor or Psychologist to meet the growing demand for student support services. We invite applications from dedicated individuals who possess a genuine commitment to nurturing the well-being of young learners in our Junior School at Masada College.
We are seeking a qualified Counsellor / Psychologist to assist in the Student Wellbeing Programs of the School with a particular emphasis on the Junior School (Years ELC to Year 6).
The successful candidate will collaborate with our full-time school psychologist as a valued member of the Academic Care team as well as interns from universities, the Head of Academic Care in the Junior School and Teaching staff. This role is required for 4 hours per day, 4 days per week.
The successful candidate must have:
- appropriate counselling qualifications at a tertiary level with current membership to a relevant professional body / association
- evidence of success and some experiences in a current role
- previous experience counselling children / young people and families
