We are seeking a suitably qualified Junior Science and Senior Psychology Teacher to work with our dedicated Academic Staff as we extend our students to achieve their potential.
In this role, you will be expected to:

- Proactively engage with professional renewal practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Work in partnership with the College Leadership Team, Middle Leaders, Academic Staff and School Officers, and contribute to the life of the College.

- Have a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum, assessment and reporting expectations and experience in enacting a systematic curriculum delivery.

About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Junior Science and Senior Psychology Teaching as well as:
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
At BCE our teachers are required to:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Yes, for primary and Religious Education teachers. Regarding a pathway to become Catholic, some employees opt to undertake the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
