Why is this role for you?You have Sheet Metal and welding experience and you are great at your job but you are sick of being overlooked for a deserved promotion.

In this role, you’d lead a team of 5 (welders and guillotiners) from a workshop in Bankstown in a business that has operated for decades and has a consistent workflow.
They have free parking and you’d earn $85k - $110k + a yearly bonus for good performance and overtime is paid at time and a half.
This sounds perfect, but what do you expect from me?
You don’t need to be the finished article to apply for this role as training is provided but you’d need to tick the 4 attributes below to be in with a shout.
- You have good mig welding and Sheet Metal fabrication skills
- You are a confident communicator and can lead a small team
- You can commit to hours of 7am – 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday (Overtime is on Saturdays)
- You don’t mind the pressure of hitting deadlines and getting the work done
