An exciting opportunity within the Environment team, providing strategic support and development of Council's Climate Change and Sustainability function as we prepare our city for a low carbon future.The Team LeaderZero Emissions & Sustainability will oversee the Zero Emissions Shellharbour Program and will lead the Zero Emissions and Sustainability stream to deliver against Council's commitments and targets. These include the development of policies, processes, methodologies and frameworks to guide the Zero Emissions program; manage engagement, data information and reporting for grant funding applications, committees and working groups.A key role to lead, mentor and provide instruction to a dedicated, passionate and inclusive team of environmental professionals in delivering environment and sustainability services for Council, our community and customers.About us:Shellharbour City, located in the Illawarra region, is just 80 minutes south of Sydney and is home to over 76,000 people in a city that spans 154 square kilometres. - Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time.
- Commencing salary range from $95,154.80 - $100,979.32 per annum plus 11% superannuation.
