If you are analytical, commercially minded and enjoy problem solving, this role is a fantastic opportunity to transition out of a pure accounting role and join the Treasury Team of a non-bank lender.
Reporting to the Treasurer, this role will see you assisting with the daily funding activities of our lending business, the analysis of key risk metrics and the preparation of trust management reports for rating agencies and key investors in our public RMBS (Residential Mortgage-Backed Securitisation) program
Responsibilities of the role
- Assisting with the day-to-day cash flow management of AFG Securities.
- Preparation of the investor Trust Management Reports including cash waterfalls, covenants, portfolio stratifications and payment directions.
- Monitoring and forecasting of facility funding covenants / limits.
- Adhoc financial modelling and analysis.
- Undertaking process and system improvements to improve efficiencies.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a self-motivator who thrives on the challenge of a fast-paced environment with an education background including:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in either an accounting/banking/finance environment.
- Strong reporting and Excel skills, including working with large data sets.
- High attention to detail, excellent communication skills and strong systems/modelling ability.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
