We are looking for a junior or light intermediate accountant to join our team to support the managers and offshore team to provide high quality work to our valuable clients. Qualifications & experience
- Completed a Bachelor or higher degree of Commerce/Business, majoring in accounting
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
- At least 12 months' accounting experience in public practice
- Working rights in Australia
- Mandarin speaking is essential
Tasks & responsibilities
- Reviewing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Reviewing bookkeeping work and month-end reporting
- Preparing annual financial statements for trusts, partnerships, SMEs and larger groups
- Preparing and reviewing the income tax return
- Communicating with clients, offshore team, and Australian government agencies
- Assisting managers and partners to provide clients with proactive, timely and accurate services
