We’re seeking an enthusiastic Junior Payroll Officer to join the team and play a key role in supporting our payroll team in the processing of multi-client payrolls for our labour hire division.
This opportunity would also suit someone who is wanting to start their career in payroll, as long as you have the willingness to learn, are adaptable, and can do basic math's then leave the training to us!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Daily management of payroll inbox
- Answering and resolving payroll queries
- Assisting with the processing weekly payroll for a portfolio of clients
- Working with timesheets and rostering of staff members
- Understanding and interpreting various Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- General Administration duties as required
- Prior experience within the payroll space is highly desirable, however, we are willing to train the right candidate
- Proactive and “can do” attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strong willingness to learn and adapt within the role
- Strong time management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel is desirable
