YOUR ROLE

As a Key Account Manager for Nelson within the NZ Sales Department, you will focus on managing a diverse portfolio of existing accounts while aggressively targeting new business opportunities in the Upper South Island's Processor and Industry (P&I) sector. This role demands a proactive approach to achieving budgeted sales and selling margin targets, ensuring that our strategic objectives align with customer needs and market demands. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivating sales growth and meeting margin budgets specific to the P&I sector.
  • Developing new business within both existing customer bases and new prospects.
  • Maintaining customer retention through strategic relationship management.
  • Leading initiatives to reduce slow-moving stock by leveraging existing and potential customer relationships.
  • Supporting our Customer Profitability Program to optimise customer PBIT.
  • Engaging with strategic supplier partners to foster new business opportunities.
