The position based in Knoxfield, Victoria is responsible for developing holistic omni-channel strategies to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and market share and in addition growing Key Accounts in Australia and New Zealand including major national retail chains in the hardware, outdoor adventure, and marine markets, plus distributors and OEM suppliers to the audio-visual, firearm, and 4WD off road market.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics and develop channel, product, and marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Manage an integrated online and offline omni-channel strategy to provide customers with easy access to Pelican products and a consistent experience across multiple touchpoints.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for distributors and OEM partners.
- Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop new partnership.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national retail accounts and implement strategies to drive growth.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with Key Accounts and partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreement.
- Provide product training and support to key account partners.
- Track account performance, providing regular reports and insights to partners and senior management.
- Utilize market insights and trends to develop and implement effective sales strategies for the D2C e-commerce platform.
- Project management of D2C projects.
- Monitor, analyze and report on website performance, conversion rates, and customer feedback to continuously improve the DTC channel.
- Perform other duties as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in DTC E-commerce and national retail/ distribution channels.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and Key Account Management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from data.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to produce accurate and thorough reports, presentations, proposals, and sales forecasts.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced organisation and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
