Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of a renowned restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, and restock dishes in a timely manner to support kitchen operations.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain clean workspaces to maximize productivity and ensure safety for all staff members.
• Sanitize dishes and utensils regularly, ensuring adequate supplies are available at all times.
• Follow recipe instructions and assist chefs by washing, cutting, or measuring food items as required.
• Monitor inventory levels during shifts and restock food items promptly to prevent shortages.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and deliveries, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Assist with various kitchen tasks and duties as assigned by the Executive Chef, Head Chef or Sous Chef

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
