In that time, we have won multiple design and small business awards, including two Australian Design Awards and are currently finalists in the Kitchen Bathroom Design Institute (KBDI) of Australia awards.
Due to recent growth and new ownership, we have an exciting role that has come available as an in-home Kitchen & Robes Sales / Design Consultant.

About the Role
A Kitchen Sales & Design Consultant plays a crucial role in our customer’s journey, working closely with them to bring their dream kitchens to life. The Sales & Design Consultants are required to consult with clients predominantly in-home, but also in our showroom on a rotating roster.
You will be helping to implement strategies to enhance customer experience, product quality, and elevate customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Interact with clients in the showroom and conduct in-home consultations to understand their requirements, design preferences, and budget considerations.
- Design Conceptualisation: Utilise your design expertise and knowledge of our product range to create custom kitchen designs that align with the client's vision.
- Sales Targets: Work with a high performing team to set and hit sales targets including translating leads into sales.
- Product Recommendations: Suggest the appropriate products, materials, and finishes to achieve the desired look and functionality.
- Presentation: Present the final design proposals to clients, providing them with a clear vision of their future kitchen.
- Collaboration: Liaise with our factory and production management to ensure a seamless transition from design to manufacture and installation.
- Leading Design Concepts: Stay updated with the latest design trends, product innovations, and industry developments to ensure we are continuously elevating customer experience.
- Location: a combination of in-home consultations and show room work.
About You
- Proven experience as a kitchen designer – whether you are just starting out or a proven designer, we’d love to hear from you.
- You have a portfolio showcasing your design expertise and ability to create functional kitchen spaces.
- Proficiency in using design software and technology including CAD to create visually appealing presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design concepts and ideas.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and cater to individual needs.
- Passion for current design trends, materials, and trending finishes in the kitchen industry.
- Flexibility to work both in the showroom and travel for in-home consultations.
- Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a bonus.
