Job description

Are you an experienced Kitchen Detailer / Designer with the ability to project manage new cabinetry projects and deliver great outcomes for your customers?

We are looking for a highly motivated team member to come and join our high impact team to be responsible for managing multiple building sites for our cabinetry installations.

We support a broad range of commercial builder clients through South Australian working over projects from single dwellings to large scale muti-unit developments.

For the successful applicant, your role with us will be to;

  • Review files for upcoming jobs and familiarise yourself with the upcoming scope of works.
  • Follow up outstanding information from Builders to finalise outstanding details.
  • Work in conjunction with our Purchasing Officer to advise ahead of time of large scale projects to ensure that project pricing and material lead times can be achieved
  • Identify any third party suppliers or specialty items that will need to be engaged ahead of time in order to meet planned installation dates.
  • Contact Building Site Supervisors to obtain estimated measure dates and current build programs.
  • Discuss the build program with our Builders and clarify aspects of the build that can impact upon the successful delivery and installation of cabinetry.
  • Attend site to complete site measure and initial assessment of the site for delivery and best program for installation
  • Undertake construction drawings through the use of Cabinet Vision software ready for production
  • Maintain forecasts for upcoming installations and regular contact with customers to ensure that programmed installation for cabinetry is achieved.
  • Attend site meetings for larger scale developments, arranging site inductions for Installers ahead of commencing on site.
  • Attend site to complete mid-install and post installation inspections of cabinetry to confirm adherence to plans and identify any future requirements.
  • Hold regular engagement meetings with Installers / Factory managers to provide quality control and manufacturing feedback for process improvements.
  • Ensure the timely and well executed completion of cabinetry installations.

The opportunity exists to join our Project team and work in a supportive environment when group outcomes and customer service are our drivers. You will be given exposure to broad range of projects and the opportunity to use your own initiative to achieve outcomes. Whilst our office is based in the Adelaide Hills the role will require regular site visits and the ability to work part time remotely from home is supported.

In order to success in this role you will need;

  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and also independently, having great communication skills
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of Cabinetry / Joinery
  • Drivers Licence
  • Experience in the use of Planit / Cabinet Vision design software package
