As our Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the back of house areas, including washing all dishes and cleaning equipment and appliances. You will ensure the back-of-house operations run smoothly by assisting the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
To succeed in this role you must:
- Be available to work a variety of shifts between the hours of 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm
- Average of 20 to 30 hours per week
- Effectively manage your time as well as follow instructions
- Enjoy physical work in a busy hospitality environment
- Be extremely team orientated
- Adherence to all Health and Safety Regulations
Experience required for this role:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Hotel experience is an advantage
- Previous chemical training is desirable
