The role
Due to continued growth, a new role has been created, R&D Formulation Coordinator, who reports to the Parkes based R&D Manager - Companion Animal Foods.
This key role:
- Formulates great tasting, nutritionally balanced and cost-effective recipes
- Provides essential technical expertise to support daily manufacturing operations, quality control and procurement teams at the manufacturing facility
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Qualification in Sciences: food science/animal / biology / nutrition / food related
- 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing (pet, cat/dog preferred, livestock or human), R&D or quality preferred
- Nutrition / formulation experience in feed / food and applicable software
- Some experience with extruded pet food is desirable
