Little Lane Early Learning Centre - Manly is a purpose-built service. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment for children and families.

So it makes sense to us that in order to promote the best learning and development within children, we need to provide them with the best fuel we can.
The opportunity:
Little Lane Early Learning Centre require an experienced Kitchenhand to assist the Chef within the kitchen to prepare high quality meals, manage children’s allergy requirements and be able to cover when the Chef is away.
You will be required to work up to 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday (No Nights, No Weekends).
Requirements:
- Good time management skills
- A NSW WWCC (or able to obtain)
- Preparing and cooking all meals fresh daily (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea)
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with Food Safety Program.
- Implementing high level of food safety standards at all times, while having a strong sense of children's nutritional and dietary requirements
- Meal plating and service
- Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children
- Kitchen cleaning and dish washing
- Food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting the service nutritional and kitchen hygiene policies
- Positively promoting and marketing the centre to families and the community
- Respecting and supporting colleagues by developing positive and ethical channels of communication that are based on principles of mutual respect, equity and fairness
