About the Role As a Level 3 Engineer, you will offer a combination of remote support to clients across the country and occasional on-site support to clients based in Western Australia. This role provides a varied workload, servicing a range of professional service clients and working with a wide range of technologies, ensuring that each day is unique.
Your New Role In your new role, you will be responsible for the operational support of client infrastructure. This includes resolving incidents, managing changes, and implementing upgrades and improvements. You will serve as an escalation point for the service desk engineers within your team in complex support cases. Your duties will also include standard 3rd level support. You will be tasked with identifying inefficient processes and suggesting improvements for greater efficiency. You will need to stay aware of client incident trends and developments and ensure that your skills and product knowledge are always up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
What You'll Need to Succeed To succeed in this role, you will need experience in a Senior Support Role, ideally having worked your way up from an L1 Engineer in a client-facing environment. You should have knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems, and experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, RDS, Office 365, and Azure AD. You should also have knowledge of networking and firewalls, experience with enterprise storage devices, and VOIP Telephony. Experience with Backup and Recovery, virtualisation, and using ticketing systems is also required. You should have a customer-centric approach, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work and perform under pressure in time-critical scenarios.
