They are looking for an incredible talent, who can be their Level 3 Service Desk Engineer, to work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and also the Company Director. You will be expected to handle Level 3 escalations, assist with project work and manage critical P1 outages or issues both on-site and remotely.
Some of your responsibilities will include -
- Handle Level 3 escalations from the Service Desk and service delivery manager
- Assist with project work as required
- Attend site or work remotely on P1 outages or issues
- Assist with Microsoft 365 architecture, including tenant creation, security compliance setup, SharePoint sites and libraries setup, permissions configuration, mailbox setup and Microsoft Defender configuration.
- Manage and support on-premises architecture, including Hyper-V, Server 2016 or later operating systems and various roles.
- Setup, manage, and support firewall requirements including traffic monitoring, packet filter rules, NAT rules, and packet passthrough troubleshooting.
- VLAN and general switch management.
- Manage ISP relationships and understand various internet connectivity options
- Manage and troubleshoot VOIP services, including 3CX or similar platforms, VOIP protocol management, desktop handset configuration, and network topology configuration
Skills, Qualifications and Tools:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, Vendor-based certifications for firewalls (Sophos, Cisco, Fortinet), and Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications or similar
- At least 8-10 years of experience in the field
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry certifications preferred
- Fundamental understanding of PowerShell across desktop and Microsoft 365
- Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong intra team and client communications skills required
- Leadership and mentorship skills – assist and mentor junior talent
- Adept in using tools like - Halo PSA Ticketing System or similar, Datto RMM or similar, Microsoft 365 suite, 3CX
- Own vehicle required with a valid Australian driver’s license
Additional Requirements:
- Occasional travel to client sites as required
