- You are able provide technical support to the Laboratory and any other stakeholders, as required
- You develop and validate robust, repeatable, and feasible methods for preparation, production and analysis
- Document and periodically review laboratory operating procedures and analytical methods
- Underpin the technical competence and credibility of products and the analytical services provided
- In addition to this you are responsible for day-to-day work planning
- Deputize for the Lab Manager when required
- Manage the Laboratory equipment and consumables.
What makes you great
- You have qualification in Chemical Engineering or B Sc Degree (or Post Graduate qualification) with Chemistry as a subject.
- Extensive knowledge of analytical chemistry and demonstrate skills to Gases lab analytical instrumentation
- In addition to that you have proven experience in troubleshooting analytical assay issues and instrumentation
- Proficiency in writing documents and in preparation and implementation of training materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
