About the role
Australian Clinical Labs has recently become a publicly listed organisation with strong growth aspirations, this is a place for someone who wants to help us in transitioning to a market leader. We are currently seeking a full time Laboratory Manager for our Warrnambool Laboratory, VIC.
This opportunity requires the appointment of a suitably qualified and experienced Scientist to the role of Laboratory Manager who has a multi-disciplinary background with strong competencies in Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion to manage the hospital pathology service.
The laboratory leadership role is required to lead our scientists and support staff through continuous improvement initiatives to support existing clients and help grow the business.
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary Science qualifications (Medical laboratory science preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a multidisciplinary pathology laboratory
- Current experience in Haematology/Blood Bank/ Biochemistry
- Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Experience rostering, purchasing, reviewing quality operations, managing performance, completing management reports, and leading laboratory meetings will be highly regarded.
