Speak to our Talent Acquisition or People & Culture team to learn more.What’s on offer?Fulton Hogan is currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Laboratory Technician to join the Fulton Hogan Infrastructure team based in Toowoomba, Queensland.You’ll be Accountable for:Obtaining samples of asphalt, aggregate, filler and binder from the field and production plants.Perform compliance laboratory testing for samples of asphalt, aggregate, filler and binder as required.Seek to understand relevant specifications and test methods required for testing products. Work towards an understanding of how to monitor and analyse test dataSeek to understand test methods, procedures and specifications.Attend and contribute to site meetings when required.Perform maintenance and basic in-house checks of laboratory testing equipmentschedule, including care and upkeep of company vehicles.Immediately report all hazards, incidents, non-complying products, complaints etc to line manager, through CAMs Maintaining a high level of internal and external customer/stakeholder communication and relationsHow you’ll connect to the role?Experience in maintaining NATA and Queensland Department of Main Roads accreditation/ registration for laboratories and production facilitiesExperience and knowledge in construction laboratories (asphalt, aggregates and binders)Knowledge of laboratory and production facility calibration requirementsAsphalt & mix design knowledge and experienceProviding technical support to production and contracting departmentsSound knowledge of Queensland test methods and Australian standards for laboratoriesThe pre-employment process will involve a medical check including drug and alcohol screening.We are an equal opportunity employer and we highly value both gender and cultural diversity in our company.Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
