The position involves:
- Chemical & physical testing quality control testing of raw materials,
packaging & finished goods.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the ISO 9001 & 13485 quality systems.
- Performing manufacturing process quality control.
- Manufacturing / production process trouble shooting.
- Non-conformance investigations, corrections & corrective / preventative actions.
- Assisting with product development and formulating.
- Assisting with regulatory & technical documents such as procedures, labels & Safety Data Sheets.
- Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
- Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques with units in chemistry Skills (or equivalent) or higher qualification
- Prior experience in chemical laboratories is favourable but not mandatory
- Ability to work within a small team to achieve objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Own transport is necessary as public transport is not reasonably available.
