Paediatric Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with at least 3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy practices. This is a permanent full-time role with an attractive salary of $120,000, plus super, per annum.
 
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to Quad Care’s clients
• Deliver client-centred care, treating all parties with dignity and respect
• Report writing and liaise with all parties
• Supporting, leading and developing the allied health team
• Develop and implement appropriate interventions, such as functional skill development programs, physical therapy, sensory processing programs
• Engage in and contribute to personal and professional development and share knowledge with the team
• Complete equipment assessment and prescriptions
• Liaise with suppliers and organise equipment trials
• Work with funding structures, including the NDIS and privately funded clients 

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy practices
• Completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
• Have a current Blue Card, Yellow Card, First Aid & CPR certificate
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
• A current driver's license and a reliable car
• Exceptional communication skills, empathy and responsiveness, professionalism and attention to detail
• A true passion for supporting others and providing care
• A complete understanding of the needs of people with disability and their informal supports
