ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ’s Yard Hand / Depot Labourer, you will perform general yard maintenance and cleanliness and carry out non-technical maintenance in our Perth depot.
Perform yard duties, plus learn to be the technician for our organic automated waste treatment system - Pulpmaster.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
DUTIES:
- Maintaining general yard cleanliness.
- Maintaining routine work records and inventories.
- Carrying out non-technical maintenance tasks as required.
- Manual handling around the yard.
- Bins maintenance and stock control
- General house keeping and yard duties as required
- Maintaining routine work records and inventories
ABOUT YOU:
- Current Forklift Licence required
- Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at JJ’s
- Be reliable; we are an essential service industry
- Mechanical and technical knowledge / experience
- Current HR licence required (ideal)
- Able to demonstrate self-management and good communication skills
- Knowledge of OH&S hazards and safety precautions
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage
- Well-developed people and relationship skills
