Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Kitchen Hand with extensive knowledge and expertise in Indian cuisine, including proficiency in preparing traditional Indian recipes and Tandoor cooking. As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, showcasing expertise in the use of traditional spices, flavors, and cooking methods.
- Specialize in Tandoor cooking techniques to create delicious and aromatic Tandoor-cooked items.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items, ensuring the authenticity and quality of each dish.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Hand with a focus on Indian cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in preparing a wide range of Indian recipes.
- Specialization in Tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, authentic Indian dishes.
- Availability to work full-time, including evenings and weekends.
