Position: Land Management Coordinator

About the role
- Provide Land Management advice across the business and maintain relevant land ownership information regarding ATCO Gas Australia’s gas pipelines and related assets across the gas distribution network.
- Liaise with land owners, land developers, relevant government departments (state and local) and industry consultants to ensure necessary land rights and access rights for reticulated natural gas networks are obtained and maintained and that the linear corridors described by Company facilities are protected from encroachment.
- Prepare, review and submit legal documentation on behalf of ATCO, including Easements and Consents to Discharge as an Interest Holder in the parcel of lands.
- Investigate and review land ownership through Landgate Certificate of Titles, Deposited Plans, and other documentation available for various land parcels throughout the State.
- Utilise land mapping software to provide consistent and up-to-date information on all ATCO land enquiries.
- Develops and fosters relationships, networks and alliances with industry, Government agencies and Contractors to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Liaise with various groups, including Project Engineers, the Location Intelligence,, the Projects Teams and Operations Teams, and other Utilities and Contractors to support achieving project objectives.
- Assists in assessing potential new business opportunities by providing relevant spatial information and data to inform investment decision-making. Provides technical advice in relation to minor works projects and field operations as it related to network projects

What we are looking for
If you have experience in at least three of the following eight tasks, we can help you with the remaining.
- Knowledge and experience in Land Management/access and administration related to utility services or pipeline operators
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to influence, build and maintain strategic networks with a range of stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor multiple Land Management tasks related to gas network construction and alteration.
- Proven time management skills to effectively manage and deliver multiple priorities
- Excellent computer skills, including utilising various information and project management systems (MS Office).
- Knowledge of surveying and/or town planning and development activities
- Experience and technical knowledge in gas distribution systems.
