-The Opportunity:We are establishing an open pool of Assistant State Land Officers and State Land Officers to join the Land Use Management division. These positions are entry level in the Land Use Management division, which are responsible for administering and managing Western Australia’s Crown land estate and Aboriginal lands held by the Aboriginal Lands Trust.The Assistant State Land Officer (L2) will represent the Department by engaging stakeholders (internal and external), providing high-level customer service, technical and administrative support, within a collaborative environment to facilitate efficient and effective delivery of projects and outcomes.The State Land Officer (L3) will represent the Department by engaging stakeholders (internal and external), providing high-level customer service, facilitating land use management projects and outcomes through comprehensive research and investigation, drafting high-level correspondences and preparation of relevant documentation (e.g. conveyancing).This is an open pool recruitment process for permanent full-time, and fixed term full-time opportunities at our Perth office and regional offices. This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector for a period of 24 months.The Perth office is located in Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground Railway Station; close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.To be successful in the Assistant State Land Officer role, you need to demonstrate:
