Veolia is currently seeking an enthusiastic Technician to look after Landfill Wastewater (leachate) management infrastructure within the Resource Recovery team. Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the leachate collection and re-circulation systems on site.

What you'll be responsible for
- Performing daily inspections of the landfill leachate and gas systems in accordance with equipment/system requirements.
- Liaising with the Field Supervisor to optimise leachate re-circulation and management.
- Performing the disconnection and re-connection of the leachate pumping infrastructure as required.
- Identifying and troubleshooting blockages, condensate buildup, and oxygen ingress issues.
- Reporting leachate or gas systems issues in accordance with site safety requirements.
- Conducting leachate level measurement, collecting data, reporting findings and implementing improvement activities.
What you'll need to be successful
- Experience in working with waste disposal, leachate or gas extraction, and Waste Water.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and rectify pump issues.
- Working knowledge of pumps and associated equipment
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of workplace health and safety
- Drivers Licence
- Google suite knowledge
