The Role
The position advertised will form a part of our Production team, and be directly responsible to the Operations Manager. We are a team of all rounders. Tasks required will include but not be limited to:
- A variety of production processes including Large Format printing, digital printing, trimming, mounting, finishing, packaging and handwork as necessary.
- Working with a variety of adhesive vinyls and substrates.
- In-house application of vinyl to substrates.
- Operate Rip software for HP latex printer.
- Ability to provide quotes for Large Format jobs.
- Print using wide format roll fed printers - HP Latex machine .
- Daily use of wide format laminators and vinyl cutters.
- Installation of Signage.
- Support and operate our state of the art colour and black and white high speed latest Ricoh digital sheet printers.
- Helping to manage and schedule daily orders to ensure production time frames are met.
In addition to this, the successful candidate would ideally possess the following skills:
- Experience in wide format printing, sign production and installation.
- Experience in sheet fed Digital print production skills would be advantageous.
- Punctual, self-motivated, responsible, positive attitude and hardworking with a desire for excellence.
- Works well as part of a team and able to work unsupervised.
- Able to work overtime when required.
- Australian residency.
- You must hold a current unrestricted Driver’s license.
