YOUR ROLE
As a Lawyer, you'll join IAG's high performing legal team (awarded the 2022 Large Legal Team of the Year). This contract position will see you providing high quality, strategic and commercially focused legal and governance advice to your business partners and external counsel.
You will provide legal support for legal projects which impact the business of IAG and for legal issues arising from IAG's Reinsurance and Distribution relationships.
The ideal candidate will be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU
- Qualified legal practitioner with 3 - 6 years + PQE ideally gained at a major Australian or international law firm and/or large corporate.
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent.
- Experience dealing with high complexity projects.
- Ability to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment.
- This role will be a 12 month contract with a possible extension.
