Our property practice is amongst the leading property practices in Australia.
The Sydney office of our property practice consists of 6 partners and over 25 staff members. This busy team works with clients on a range of matters including capital transactions and leasing (landlord and tenant) for a range of asset classes ,as well as land acquisitions and sales for development.
About the role
Our Sydney team is currently seeking a Property lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ PAE to work with Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers listed Partner Adrianna Witkowski and her team.
This position provides the opportunity to be exposed to A-list, institutional clients and a range of acquisitions, disposals and complex leasing work. As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Adrianna and senior practitioners who will be genuinely interested in developing your career and providing you with strong guidance and mentorship.
About you
You will be a driven and enthusiastic lawyer who possesses a genuine passion for property work. In particular, we need you to have gained experience in leasing and acquisitions and disposals of real estate in the office, retail and/or industrial sectors.
To be successful in this position you will possess the following:
- Around 2-5 years’ post qualification experience in a busy property practice (including leasing)
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
- Solid negotiation skills
- Ability to manage client matters from instruction through to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Mentoring more junior lawyers/paralegals in the team as required
- Ability to work independently and proactively, and as well as supporting others in the team
- Ability to receive and implement senior lawyers’ feedback
