Litigation Team
Our client's Melbourne Litigation team has worked on many of Australia's high-profile commercial disputes and Royal Commissions, producing both successful litigated and negotiated outcomes.
Notably, several partners within the team are continuously recognised as experts in their field by external directories including Best Lawyers Australia, Chambers Asia Pacific, Benchmark Asia Pacific and Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

The Role
There is currently an exciting opportunity for a talented Lawyer to join the firm's Disputes team in Melbourne.
This role will see you working alongside some of the nation's leading litigation lawyers on large-scale and often multi-jurisdictional Dispute Resolution cases.
You will be exposed to a variety of different matters including commercial and corporate disputes, class actions, competition and consumer law claims, insolvency related litigation, regulatory investigations, and property disputes.
The work is often high-profile and always interesting, requiring skills in strategic negotiation, risk management and alternative Dispute Resolution.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, preferably gained at a top tier or leading international firm.
In addition, you will have:
- A strong academic background;
- Excellent technical, drafting and communication skills;
- Strong client service and ability to develop long-lasting relationships;
- Superb attention to detail and analytical skills; and
- An ability to work well collaboratively in a team and demonstrate initiative and proactiveness.
