Dispute Resolution Team
The Dispute Resolution team work alongside various organisations, including those operating in the technology, media and sports industries, on high-profile disputes and litigation.
They are widely recognised for having a number of leading practitioners in the field who provide expert advice to clients on contentious matters relating to administrative law, banking & finance, construction & projects, corporations and securities law, insurance, insolvency, intellectual property, real estate and tax issues.
The Role
Owing to growth and a healthy pipeline of work, the firm are currently looking for a Lawyer or Associate to work closely with the team's leading Partners.
As a member of the team, you can expect to be involved in a variety of interesting disputes matters, ranging from TMT and privacy related disputes, to multi-party commercial and corporate litigation and class actions, in addition to multi-jurisdiction regulatory investigations.
You will act for clients operating across a breadth of industries, including banking and finance, aviation and defence, FMCG, media, retail, sport and technology.
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have between 2 to 4 years’ PAE, including experience in large and complex multi-party commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
They will also have:
- strong academic credentials with excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- self-driven and proactive about personal and professional opportunities such as business development, internal presentations etc.;
- excellent, proven, organisational skills and strong time management; and
- well-developed teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
