Job description

We are interested in hearing from candidates that would like to partner with our current highly experienced L&D Program Manager in a job-share, part-time arrangement, working a total of 14.5 hours per week, preferably from Wed-Fri. The position is a temporary position for a period of 6 months, with a possibility of extension. We are flexible on the location, however would prefer for candidates to be situated within 1-2 hours drive from Brisbane.
With a legacy spanning over 160 years, QBuild has played a vital role in building and maintaining government-owned facilities, including schools, social housing, police stations, correctional facilities, and ambulance stations.
The primary purpose of the position is to manage QBuild’s Learning and Development Specialists to enhance learning, training and development of programs across QBuild.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of Learning and Development Specialists in enhancing learning, training and development programs across QBuild
  • Planning, designing and delivering learning and development strategies and programs
  • Providing leadership support, team coordination and actively engage in hands-on delivery of programs
  • Implementing initiatives to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Managing the delivery of the Training Plan including budgets, timeframes and reporting
  • Collaborate with state-wide representatives to drive learning and development programs
