The Role
As a Lead Analyst, you will manage and optimise Unit Pricing services including operational deliverables, change management and risk controls. This role is client-centric and aims to deliver complete, accurate and timely net asset valuation and unit prices to accommodate client financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transitions or new investment processes with internal stakeholders, custodian, and fund managers
- Monitor the timing and quality of supplier deliverables
- Active involvement in operational risk management, and process and system improvements
- Act as a liaison with various internal/external parties including auditors, legal counsel, and asset managers
- Review Unit Pricing calculation and asset valuation for accuracy in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Act as first point of escalation when issues arise from daily activities
- Ensure timely delivery of Unit Pricing services including any reporting requirements
- Promote professional development opportunities for staff within the Unit Pricing Team and work with the Senior Manager to upskill and train team members to enable development
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- Professional qualifications such as CPA/CA/CFA advantageous
- Proven experience in a similar role, working for superannuation administrators, investment managers or custodians
- Detailed understanding of asset instruments and investment vehicles such as superannuation funds and managed investment schemes
- Experience working within an APRA/ASIC regulated environment
