Lead Application Engineer - Drilling and Completions Fluids

Partner with the bestAs a Lead Applications Engineer - Drilling and Completions Fluids, you will deliver applications design that maximizes our opportunity to meet the job objectives in line with the contract terms. You will collaborate with the Service Delivery Coordinator and other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application are understood.
As a Lead Applications Engineer - Drilling and Completions Fluids, your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions as part of the pre-ITO process while interfacing with the commercial team.
- Possessing a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value to aid winning bid strategies.
- Providing technical analysis of client needs, including optimization of products, scope, schedule, industrial scheme, and cost.
- Preparing calculations of plant, system, and equipment performance, along with documentation of technical specifications and costing elements.
- Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and approaches.
- Communicating effectively within the organization, presenting to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Developing cross-technology solutions and working on cross-functional projects to deliver technology solutions for the business.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Customer Application Engineering.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and identify solutions with analytical and organizational ability.
